Full Mouth Reconstruction
Aesthetic Smile Design
Many people struggle with conditions such as damaged, severely decayed, worn down, sensitive, or missing teeth. Fortunately, there are solutions for even the most serious problems. People who suffer from these challenges should not have to live with embarrassment any longer.
As the name implies, full mouth reconstruction refers to rebuilding and/or replacing all of the teeth in a patient’s mouth. Full mouth reconstructions combine aesthetics with the science of restorative dentistry to improve the health, function, and beauty of the mouth. Our specialized dentist in Old Tappan practices “Complete Dentistry” that requires an understanding of every structural part of the head and neck, including your jaw joints, muscles, and teeth in order to diagnose and treat when a full mount reconstruction is needed. In the long run, this can save patients from years of pain, suffering, and excessive cause for repeated dental work.
In general, any dental treatment that affects all teeth in the mouth is called full mouth reconstruction or full mouth rehabilitation. The treatments can include inlays, crowns, bridges, veneers, dental implants, and/or implant supported dentures (Hybrid and Overdentures) that will provide not only a “smile makeover”, but restoration of function.
We have performed many full-mouth reconstructions over the years. Throughout each process, we treat our patients with respect and form close relationships to ensure we meet their needs and achieve their desired goals.
